Who shoots today, Tuesday, March 17, the mascletà in the town hall square of Valencia?
Valencia lives this Tuesday, March 17, a new mascletà of the Fallas 2026. The Town Hall Square once again becomes, one more day, the epicentre of the pyrotechnic calendar of the Fallas 2026 with a new pyrotechnic show. On this occasion, the person in charge of shooting is Mediterraneo pyrotechnics.
This year, as a novelty, all the mascletaes have a name, which gives them their own identity. Today's one is called 'Catharsis'. According to the Valencia City Council, the Mediterranean pyrotechnic shot will have a total of 225.69 kilos of gunpowder and will last 450 seconds.
How will the mask be?
The Mediterraneo pyrotechnic mascletà will begin with a Valencian tarca, followed by a classic shot and several phases of innovative shooting. It will be a rhythmic shot to escape the monotonous sound. Then come the phases of aerial effects, combined with terrestrial effects. A sharp blow will mark the end of the aerial shot and the beginning of the string fire. It is here where the audience can listen to the first notes of the score 'Mediterranean'.
The peak moment of the shooting will be an earthquake accompanied by a strong aerial bombardment and a great dry and resounding blow.
Founded in 2014 in Vilamarxant, Mediterranean pyrotechnics has been shooting in the Town Hall square since 2016. Last year, it shot on March 18.

Het ruimt wel lekker op die harde knallers, het hele plein IS na de mascleta netjes opgeruimd (Vanaf 6:07 uur).Ik snap echt niet dat jullie naar die schelle audio van Vivir blijven luisteren

KNETTERS Wat een dikke film! deze gaat voor altijd bijblijven! in 2024 was ik er helaas niet bij! maar deze beukert is ook een topper.

Ik ben al bijna 15jr niet meer naar Fallas geweest en hou het totaal niet bij en derhalve vraag ik me af waarom er Nederlandse popo in de gesperde zone staat.Hierbij onze video van deze bruto Terremoto

Volgens mij stond er aan de andere kant ook politie. Ik vind het echt enorme triest dat een paar Nederlanders het zo ver hebben laten komen dat dit waarschijnlijk nodig is. Het is om kapot voor te schamen.
