The 3rd Malta National Ground Fireworks Festival will be held on the
25th April 2009.
In Malta apart from the arial fireworks displays, there is a culture
of mechanized ground fireworks. These works of 'art' are unique to
Malta. An ammount of mechanical engineering is used to make these
ground fireworks, like gears, chains and universal joints. The display
is in form of a competition where in the first edtion 14 fireworks
competed and 16 in last year edition.
