International Fireworks Salute

The Richmond Region International Fireworks Salute will explode along the banks of the James with fireworks from many countries every Saturday evening for 10 Saturday nights beginning on the July 4th weekend in 2007 and continuing through Labor Day weekend of 2007, at or near Belle Island.

The fireworks salute will be the only one of its kind in the United States. It is modeled after the major international fireworks competition that has been held during June and July for the past 20 years in Montreal, Canada.
