Ik kwam net het volgende bericht tegen, van de TV zender Cadena SER, die het nog wat ingewikkelder maakt (en naar mijn mening deels fout heeft):
New schedules and locations for fireworks in Valencia on the occasion of October 9
The castle on the 8th will be fired from the Alameda promenade (not from the Turia garden) and the mascletà on the 9th will be at 2:45 p.m.
ValènciaThe festivities department of the Valencia City Council prepares the firing of a fireworks display on the eve of October 9, the day of the Valencian Community.
The novelty this year is that it is fired on the Alameda promenade itself and not below, in the Turia riverbed, which is the place used for years for the firing of pyrotechnic shows.
Specifically, the show will be shot on the stretch of the Alameda between the Aragón bridge and the Flores bridge, now the Rita Barberá bridge, in front of the San Juan de Ribera military barracks.
The person in charge of firing will be Pirotecnia Martí (wat dus fout is, want het is Pirotecnia Valenciana), who will also fire the mascletá in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento at the end of the civic procession. The estimate of the local government, and this is another novelty, is that the mascletà will be fired at a quarter to three in the afternoon.
Dansà and Moors and Christians
The program is completed with the "Mostra de Balls, Música i Cançons Valencianes" and the traditional "dansà" that will be held on Sunday starting at 7 pm in the Town Hall square with the collaboration of the Folklore Federation of the Valencian Community.
And along with this, the activities of the Moors and Christians, with the celebration of the Embassies behind the Serranos gate on Saturday, October 6, in the evening; the Alardo from the Market Square to the Town Hall Square, on Sunday morning, and the entrance of Moros y Cristianos on Monday, October 9 from 5 in the afternoon from Glorieta, passing through La Plaza, Poeta Querol, Barcas Street , and Town Hall Square, until ending in Marqués de Sotelo.
