RENSSELAER — Gilmore’s Green Acres Third Annual Fall Festival is set to begin this Saturday with free fireworks beginning after dark. The night will also be the grand opening of the 2006 Corn Maze.

“Bada Boom Pyrotechnics will be testing out new fireworks displays for 2007 shows, so be the first to see the new fireworks for next year, said Suzanne Gilmore. It is always an excellent display.

A celebration of American agriculture and the family farm, Gilmore’s Green Acres, delights visitors with hours of adventure and old-fashioned fun and treats like Grandma used to make.

Scamper around a clever six acre cornfield maze, ride in a tractor-drawn animal train, learn about Indiana agriculture, including everything from corn to pumpkins and eat home-bake goodies that will transport you back to a happier, friendlier time.

Gilmore’s also offers tours to schools and private parties on week days. — By BRANDON HATFIELD
