same as I said in the san trifone thread:

Nice Videos.

It clearly shows that there is some kind of connection between Italian Fireworks and Maltese Fireworks and The Saints Feasts.

Only that in Italy different Fireworks Groups participate in one competition while in Malta it is not a direct competition like abroad. Its more of a competition for pride rather than price. Every feast has its own fireworks factories belonging mostly to the local Band Clubs.

I would like to learn More about the Italian celebrations. It would be nice to put more pictures online on santrifone.it about the other celebrations like the procession with the saint, decorations and other traditions you do.

Its very nice to see the connection of cultures. Spain also seems to have similair cultures but Italy is probably the most similair with Malta when it come to these celebrations.

Nice movie with a great quality. A friend of mine used to visit the festival in Mugnano frequently. The last few years we preferred to go to Adelfia.
What I've seen in this video is a confirmation of what I was told in Adelfia by several Italians (coming from Bari, Roma, Napoli, etc.). They said that for the daylight fireworks the festival in Adelfia is the best and that Mugnano has the best evening shows. So if you have any movies of an evening show........ I'm very curious.

It is true that the Maltese and Italian types of shells resemble one another. Although, I think that the Maltese have a better timing of the inserts in the shell.

By the way... what was the distance from the GASSTATION!!!
