Was watching the end of the vid clip jeff05 i remember the guys with the barracos ? & the police one of them came off his bike below us.
Can you imagine this in the uk the police dont seem to bothered do they.
It came as quite a suprise when they turned on the park sprinkler system what a cunning plot.

Yes the sprinklers was a good ploy.....

The police were not that happy I saw one run and land a flying kick on one of the guys who was throwing Barrachos around...

Thank you for the videos!

The problem with the "borrachos" (popular name given to that artifacs that don't have a linear or predictable trajectory, "borracho" means "drunk") is that it's illegal to sell it directly to people, so some groups of "bad guys" usually go a few weeks before fallas right to "pyro-factories"... it's very difficult to control this... perhaps one day, normal people (around 99% among the fallas crowd) will fight those stupids...

A curiosity, the real name for "borrachos" is "femelles", this name was given beacause the other typical firework is "masclet":
- "femelles" is the plural for "femella", "female" in valencian/catalan.
- "mascle" is "male" in valencian/catalan.

Well they are for sale in every fireworks store in Valencia. So how is this possible when they are forbidden ?????

 I don't know... perhaps there are another legal class, or simply that store was illegal (law is not 100% acomplished)... but as far as I know most "borrachos" are only for professional-sale, few years ago some friends of mine offered me to go to buy them from the pyrofactory.
And every fallas I see the police seizing "borrachos" from people...

I was sure they were illegal, should ask it...

Thanks for the info :blink1: , but as Tony says they are for sale in all the stores I visited except 'Petards'. I was told that the ones with the report at the end had been banned, but they were being let off in abundance.
