In order to celebrate the return day, Hongkong will hold a largest fireworks display in the evening of July 1.
Mao Weicheng, the executive-president of Hongkong Gangxin Fireworks Manufacturing Company which takes charge the fireworks performance, expressed that there will be 31888 pieces of various kinds of fireworks to be set off during the evening of July 1, and the whole fireworks show will spend about 23 minutes. At that time, the displaying fireworks will form a beautiful scenery with 300 meters length and 1000 meters width, sundry fireworks patterns such as "2008", some Chinese words and etc will light the dark sky of port of Victoria at the same time.
