A bag containing gas and fireworks which a woman brought onto a bus she was riding on caught fire, leading to a blaze that killed five people in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, authorities said yesterday.
The motive of her carrying the danger items onto the vehicle was unclear. The bus caught fire when traveling on a street on Thursday morning. Five were killed and two seriously injured.
