Hello all,

Videos of the St.Andrew's Feast Fireworks Shows in Luqa, Malta 2006 have just started being uploaded this morning.

Please note that it will take time for all the videos to be online, at least 1 video a week will be uploaded so KEEP WATCHING THIS SPACE FREQUENTLY, AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.

Day Light Show - Translazzjoni
Highlight: Some Unique Shells at= 3mins, 7:05mins and 7:40mins. A chemical mixture that produces brown salute and reports used for half circles and quarters and the now famous blackstar.

Grand Final
A large quantity of conected shells> A showcase of night time colours and effects. Gets better and better by each minute and then the ending.

Traditonal Maltese Colored Fireworks A Unique Display of Traditional Maltese Multi-Break Colored Shells and others..


5.)
Traditonal Maltese Beraq Cracker Shells (night time) A Unique Display of Traditional Maltese Multi-Break cracker shells (Beraq) night time..

The daylight show is wonderfull, I find the shells they build artistic, 6 a 7 multibreaks with small salute rings and those great 4 multi break shells with great salute rings.

Did they use larger multibreak shells than last year?
I see a lot of more rings coming out of those shells.

Shells sizes are more or less the same as last year. But I used a new camera Thanks for the Comments. More should come online soon.

Good movie quality and very nice fireworks Luga!

Some friends of me went to Malta last week, visited some fireworker friends, and actually learned them some new tricks in making effects which were immediately used in this year's firework.
Funny to know that Malta firework makers have a lot of experience in making fireworks, but hardly have any experience in working with the chemicals etc.

They could tell me that the biggest size shells used this year was 19" shot almost in front of the public.

I dont agree totaly in what you said because In Malta some very unique chemical mixtures have evolved like the invisible timed report by Saint Mary's Mqabba and the Black Star by us (St.Andrew's/union Band Luqa). Omongst other techinques. having said this altese pyro welcome always lok for more recepies even from forigners. Anything to outdo the competition rivals.
