(News from fireworkstown)Shanghai International Music Fireworks Festival is organized around National Day and has been held since the year 2000. The Music Fireworks Festival in 2000 was the first time that such an event was being staged in Asia.

Shanghai International Music Fireworks Festival is a traditional programme and a part of the Shanghai Tourism Festival. This year there will be 3 special performances from the following participants:

Sep. 30 Melrose Pyrotechnics.Inc. from Uited States (General Designer:Mike Cartolano)

Oct. 3 Hamex D.O.O from Slovenia (General Designer:Ham Alex)

Oct. 6 Luso Pirotecnia Group from Portugal (General Designer:Vitor Machado)

In addition, as traditional, it will add a 20-minute Chinese fireworks performance before every specail performance.
