I think the english show was much better than the spanish one, at less in terms of creativity. I didn't like the finale, and it's not a question of noise neither amount of material but a question of "taste". The "my immortal" theme was ok to end the display, it was a good theme to close the show, however ther's something I don't like... For me there is no reason tu put this segment in the finale. The song before the finale could have been perfectly the real finale. In some way I think it is, because "my immortal" is only the "end credits" of the entier show.
However, even this strange finale, the show was very good, the theme was PERFECT, the use of different levels during the display was awesome and the synchronitzation was really good. The only criticism I have is the lack of colors used in the display, but this is a minor criticism. The show was really good.
Iguals show was good, some segments were awesome (Brazil, the pirates atack...) some faux finales were good, the theme was well devoloped with some nice transition segments (the gulls for example) but the last part of the show was not very good. I didn'tlike the songs they chose neither the finale.
For me England is in the first place today and then Igual. But the competition is in the beggining, lets see what happen with Foti and Jupiter, Melrose, Royal, Pyromagic ... all they are winners of the previous seasons. And don't forget Fireworks for Africa, they use always big amounts of material.
