Pirotecnia Arnal

Hi there!

Wasn't there an "write-in-English" section before somewhere? Anyway.... :smiling:
I was just wondering, looking into several old lists and cataloges from Pirotecnia Arnal that I have here if anyone of the more up-to-date Spain visitors here could tell me something about the recent history or fate of that company. I remember reading somewhere that the company name was taken over by another company and the original operation shut down but I don't know neither if this is the truth or what happend there at all.

Years back we where buying twice some products from Arnal and the people where always nice. Then we concentrated mainly with friends at A.Caballer, well, and since this company don't exist anymore my information on the fireworks industry are not so much first-hand anymore, at the moment we don't do anything with Spain at all.

So anyway, I was just wondering if someone knows the finer details into Arnal.

bye!

Hi Alex,

at the moment the company is not doing many things as before.
But they still work and they use the name Pirotecnia Garuda.

So, what did you bought from them? Because the shows that i have seen from them where always with Chinese products.

Hi Tony!

Ah, I wasn't aware that Garuda is the "new Arnal" so to say, thanks for the info!
We were buying some Quickmatch and Tracas, several components and also a few shells and roman candles from them. But then we did most of the business with Miguel. Very unfortunate that the company AC did colapse then....

Really it's not new. As long as i know Arna i also know Garuda.
It's how the others also work. Like Miguel, he had more the one company, Vicente also etc.

Yes, it is a pitty that when Miguel died that the company had no future in the way at that moment.
His big shells where not the best but his Castillo's and Mascletas where very good.
