The International Symposium on Fireworks celebrates its 10th anniversary which began 15 years ago in Montreal, Canada. Originally formed by the Canadian Explosives Research Laboratory (CERL) (Click here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCh1eyUWfjo to see a historical video on the symposium )
Martyne Gagnon and Paul Csukassy opened up the 10th Symposium with their presentation offering a behind the scenes look at the Competition through several videos illustrating the history, the setup and initiation of the competition. This world renowned fireworks competition is the most honoured competition in our industry. In the audience were a handful of Jupiter winners from the past years. The Wednesday evenings displays were from Royal Pyrotechnie demonstrating Dancing Fireworks brand display products using the PyroDigital firing system and the Monetti PyroClock delays. Italian products demonstrated by Pirotecnia Morsani.Displays were from Panzera and Pirico of Italy, Pirotecnia Caballer of Spain and Glorious Fireworks of China who used 2800 cues (one e-match per item!)
The week closes with an appreciation of the Fireworks science
