ewery is ok for croatian law because we have class1 class 2 and now class3 .
before we have class1 and class 2,class3 only for profys now class4 is for profy.
people want to by stronger cakes and importer say ok because, pyrotechnics is not so popular in Croatia as well as in the Netherlandsand the law is very soft because it is important that higher sales.we have perhaps the strongest firecracker in europe legal but for joint you going in jail.

Can anybody tell anything about the Croatian law about fireworks?

Because a couple of weeks ago I read something about fireworks in Croatia were going to be prohibited for consumers. Only pro's were allowed to buy and use fireworks.

I started a quick search for the Croatian law, but aunfortunately without any results...

The firework in the video looks like it is meant for professional displays, huge effects, nice colorfull mines. Could you tell us something about the used caliber in the fireworks you can bbuy in stores?

to 1990g commercial pyrotechnics did not exist in Croatia, was prohibited except professional pyrotechnics.I will try to be as short as:
class1 must be older than 14y
class2 must be older than 16y:firecrakers to 6g powder,nitrat-metal to 1g,perklorat-met to 0,5g. 8m from explosion to 120 db .
class3 must be older than 18y:firecrakers to 10g powder,nitrat-met 10g,perklorat-met to5g.15m from explosion 120db.
cakes class2 100-500g and caliber 9,14,18,20,24,28 and 30 .
rockets class2 10-70g powder
class2 and 3 sell 15 december to 31 december and use 27 dec to 1yan.

Those cakes are pretty amazing!
I wonder if there are many firework accidents during the celebration of new year in Croatia. Since those cakes are pretty big and there is no other country that allows such calibers for regular consumers!

we have accident with real weapon not firework acident ,loot of people in croatian think firework is for a small kids. now we have realy goood stuf for buy , for croatian standard firwork is expensive but i like so mach firework !!!!!

In most cases, cakes are not the main cause of accidents. (Illegal) firecrackers AND MORE IMPORTANT stupidity are the common cause of accidents.

That is why I am asking, according to the fact that such cakes are when proper used not dangerous they should allow such Kalibers here in Holland

Nah, I am just happy people use fireworks correctly in Croatie.

They should give proper lessons/information here... and triple the penalties for abuse/vandalism. But I'm running offtopic...

Back to Croatian Fireworks :)
The period of selling and lighting is very interesting...
