British, Scottish and Welsh Fireworks Championship

Haven't seen info about this festival before, thought you might be interested.

As of this year, the British Fireworks Championship is extended with the Scottish and Welsh Fireworks Championship. The winners of these last two Championships will take part in the British Fireworks Championship.

Dates:
Welsh Championship: May 5th, 2007
3 companies participating
Scottish Championship: May 26th, 2007
3 companies participating
British Championship: August 14th and 15th, 2007
6 companies participating (4 English, 1 Welsh, 1 Scottish)

Welsh Championships were won by Pendragon Fireworks and the Scottish Championships were one by Blast Design Fireworks

The event took place on a wet and windy couple of days in Plymouth.....

Selstar Firworks were 1st

1st Galaxy Fireworks were 2nd

I think they all deserve a medal for rigging in the conditions they did....

No no, the teams on the first day deserve a medal for rigging and coming as far as they did! The teams on the second day had it easy and perfect conditions at night!

The dates have been announced the draw has been made......

Don't know who is competing yet? I do know 2 of the companies I work for have not been picked :sad: ....... will keep you posted:bigsmile:

* 20th March – Battersea Park, London
* 12th April – Buile Hill Park, Salford
* 3rd May – Chepstow, South Wales
* 26th May, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham
* 12th & 13th August – Plymouth finals
