Thanks for keeping us updated!

What do you think effect would be on export if Sanshui port would no longer harbour fireworks? Are there other ports nearby that are or will take over this task? We don't want to be without fireworks here, you know! :p

Yes, it will have a big effect on fireworks transportation. Just as you know, Sanshui port at least deals with over 50% fireworks containers which were exported to the other countries every year, now this port has been closed, it means that the fireworks containers which was planned to export from this port will transfer to the other ports which can accept the fireworks transportation, it must lead to the increase of the transportation price.

Nanshan port near Sanshui port can accept the fireworks transportation, but the transportation capacity is far less than Sanshui port, more importantly, no storehouses there and they can just be loaded to the ship immediately as soon as the fireworks containers are transported to this port.

Shanghai port and Beihai port can transport fireworks, too, but these ports will face the challenge of transportation pressure.

So maybe that will mean higher prizes in the countries of export too...hmmm...and due to illegitimate storage. We hear that too often, I believe. A shame it is.
