Beste Nederlandse vuurwerkfans!
From 2009 to 2019 we -Röder Feuerwerk- carried out the category-F2-pyromusical-competition. During the pandemic years and the following struggles caused by the ridicolous and senseless prohibition of fireworks sales we could not continue with the competition up to now.
But we are still here and now it is time for a new competion in 2024.
As we would like to make the competion more international, we would appreciate to have a dutch team in the competition.
Therefore this is an invitation for you to set up a team and to apply for participation in our unique event. The event will take place near our company (Location on google maps) on August the 31th 2024.

Some key data in a nutshell:
- Each team consists of 5 to 7 people of legal age. There will be 3 or 4 teams in total.
- As it is a competition for non-professionals, we won’t accept complete professional teams of pyrotechnicians.
- You should have some experience with choreographed firework shows (best case pyro musicals) and provide a video of a show shot by you for reference.
- Each team is given a fixed budget (at least 3.000€) to purchase fireworks items in our onlineshop.
- Fireworks items have to be picked from a list of sponsoring suppliers with some specifications for the distribution of the budget.
- Each Show has to be 8 to 10 minutes and needs to contain 3 to 4 different songs. One part of the show will have to follow certain specifications chosen by us (could be a special genre of music or for example only silent items). Final specifications will be announced when teams are fixed.
- You have to bring your own firing system.
- Röder Feuerwerk is just organizing the competition, the teams are responsible for their shows and the safety issues. Each team (teamleader) will get a permission from the local authorities for the show. At least one team member (usually the teamleader) is required to have a sufficient insurance for shooting fireworks.
- You must not change any fireworks item (separating compounds or batteries, change fusing, etc.).
- You have to bring additional materials needed for construction yourself.
- You have to bring your own igniters or you can buy them from us with special pricing
- You have to bear the costs of travelling, overnight stay and insurance.
- A jury of pyrotechnicians, vuurwerkfans and sponsors will choose the winners by a fixed system of evaluation.
- Sadly, we cannot award a cash price. We decided to put all available money in the shows. Only the Winners will receive a voucher for our onlöineshop. You will fight mostly for honour only.
