Freakpyromaniacs sinds 2006 zijn onze films ook te vinden op You Tube . Zo blijven de films tot in de eeuwigheid beschikbaar en kan iedereen makkelijk en snel een filmpje opzoeken en bekijken!
Tarragona 200617th Internation Fireworks Competition of Tarragona. This years edition is the Champion of Champions with the winners of the last 6 years.
De 3rde show die wij voor jullie online hebben gezet is die van het Japanse bedrijf Tamaya Kitahara. Dit bedrijf werkt samen met het Spaanse bedrijf Igual om zo wat meer op de Europese markt te kunnen schitteren.
Persoonlijk hou ik niet van dit soort show. Er wordt maar van alles de lucht in geschoten en er lijkt totaal geen script te zijn voor het verloop van de show. Er worden dan wel een paar mooie themas geschoten maar deze vallen in het niet doordat er tijdens de show geen rust gegunt wordt. Gelukkig hebben we nog wel enkele bekende Japanse bommen mogen aanschouwen zoals de gouden effecten, Kitty's en enkele bijzonder fluitbommen en uiteraard de flower in flower shells ( Thousend Flowers) maar ik miste toch hier weer de mooi Japanse Crysnathum bommen.
Maar niet alles was slecht alleen het moet je smaak van schieten zijn. Voor mensen die van geweld houden was dit een perfecte avond en het over grote deel van het publiek ging dan ook uit zijn dak bij de vele Peony's , crysanthum en waterbommen die overigens niet zo mooi waren als vorig jaar.
Tamaya kreeg van de jury 8.19 punten en van het publiek 8.08 punten.

TAMAYA, who first participated last year in Tarragona competition combined in 2005 far east tradition with the way of fireworks shooting which is loved by the local audience. And they decided to try it one again – never change a running system!
Although the weather was perfect during the day with clear sky and slight wind, in the evening the wind calmed down and almost stopped. As expected the high air humidity caused massive smoke development which filled the sky within minutes and extremely spoiled the display by TAMAYA.
Besides this TAMAYA’s show was a very well done opening of this years Champion of Champions edition of Tarragona fireworks display competition in Tarragona. TAMAYA, who was again technically supported by the Catalan IGUAL company, perfected their style they showed in 2005. Again, the opening of the display was an extreme powerful shooting of Asian coloured round shells, heavily supported by lots of aquatic shells which burst along the beach of Punta del Miracle, sometimes in close proximity to the public. This way they almost fully occupied the whole sky with endless waves of shell bursts. During the whole display they kept this monotone but fierce rhythm with lots of different shell types. One saw beautiful falling leaves, pattern shells, brocade crowns with red twinkling stars, shell of shells with multi coloured small flowers, 8-pointed chrysanthemums, colour changing peonies with pistil and more typical Asian effects, sometimes but not always of true Japanese perfection and quality. Almost all mortars upto 150mm contained more than one shell and additional effects like star mines or big whistles with unusual sound. Although the display was fired with the Pyrodigital firing system TAMAYA avoided digital stepper sequences apart from one short sequence.
The finally was again introduced and supported by aquatic shells but then changed to a short sequence of countless brocade shells finished by bright white chrysanthemums with lots of small salutes.
The public liked the display a lot and applaused TAMAYA for a powerful display which was not traditional Japanese, but which shows the high level of this years competition and what the spectators can expect within the next five days..

Ongecontroleerde chaos... wordt lukraak geschoten zo lijkt het. Naja tis best mooi, maar als je het gaat vergelijken met spaanse kunststukjes met timed steppers e.d., ziet dit er relatief amateuristisch uit. De gouden regen (m.n. de waterbommen) zijn echter wel om te smullen ;) heb nou eenmaal een zwak voor dat effect:+

Show vond ik ook niet je van het. Weinig echte Japanse dingen gezien buiten de kaleidoscoopachtige kamuros en shell of shells.

Ja ik weet, ik reageer wat aan de late kant, maar ik hen nu de show goed kunnen beoordelen. maar het is net of die japaners denken van "gaan met die banaan", "de brand erin".
Maar ja, dat is al door meerdere mensen beschreven. Ik heb ze wel een mooier gezien van de japaners.
