De laatste show van het festival is geschoten door [Alleen geregistreerde leden kunnen deze links zien. (Only registered and activated users can see links.) ] uit Valencia. Altijd leuk om de bekenden mensen uit Valencia weer eens te begroeten. De opbouw zag er goed uit met een aantal dikke bommen waaronder de bekende fluitbommen met dubbele staart (2x) en een aantal lange cilinders uit Italie.

De show begon zeer leuk en naarmate de show vorderde vondt ik hem steeds minder worden. Ik vond dat er teveel salutes werden gebruikt en teveel pauze's. De snelheid mocht op een gegeven moment ook wel opgevoerd worden maar helaas gebeurde dit niet. Er zijn wel veel leuke en goede combinaties geschoten zoals we ze kennen uit Valencia en uiteraard was de finale zoals we gehoopt hadden. Veel bonte shells met aan het einde een serie salutes opgevolgd door salute mines.

De jury gaf deze show 7.90 punten en [Alleen geregistreerde leden kunnen deze links zien. (Only registered and activated users can see links.) ] eindigde daarmee op de 5de plaats. Het publiek waardeerde de show iets beter en gaf het bedrijf 8.06 punten maar eindigde daarmee ook op de 5de plaats voor de publieksprijs.

Nice show from Turis (Arco Iris), maybe a litle bit repetitive with some effects and sequences, but in general good.

Ps: I think we could rate all the displays from Tarrragona, that everyone express his feeling about the display .
For me this one is .......... 6'5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:w

ARCO IRIS: Valencian color waves

After a full week of fireworks today the 17th International Fireworks Display Competition in Tarragona ended with the sixth display performed by the Valencian company ARCO IRIS. Like the five companies before ARCO IRIS too invested extra efforts for this special edition of the competition to convince the jury and the public. So they presented a truly perfect Valencian style display, loud and colourful, with traditional setup and increasing force of the single sequences with similar effects. Additionally they decorated it with several passages with mine and bright comet fans, often topped by salutes or they shot these effects digitally stepped. Almost through the whole display the aerial shells were accomplished by mines, what was very beautiful. Furthermore ARCO IRIS presented special round shells of big calibre as single shots, which effects were especially arranged for this display, eg. shells with coloured or tailed stars which changed to whistles or small salutes. For the display, which was controlled by the Pyrodigit firing systems, ARCO IRIS mainly used their own manufactured quality material. The audience enjoyed the show a lot and applaused several times between and of course after the powerful finale which ended with several waves of mines and heavy salutes.

Although the smoke formation of the first half of the Champion of Champion edition was so massive, this could not spoil the fascination coming from these masterpieces of fireworks art, which all were of extraordinary quality in choreography and effects.

Dit is de eerste show die ik zie van Tarragona 2006 en ik moet zeggen dat ik het een redelijke show vind...
Ze hebben een aantal hele mooie dingen laten zien maar ook wat mindere zo vond ik de combinatie op 6:35 ongeveer wel erg leuk met die verschillende geluidseffecten...:) Maar dan moet ik wel weer zeggen dat ze wel wat te lang met die hummers doorgingen want na 2 keer heb je dat geluid wel gehad dat hoef je niet twintig keer achter elkaar te horen.....

Ik moet zeggen er werden wel veels te veel salutes gebruikt zoals op 9:00 bij die mines + candles dat is erg mooi maar om daar nou gelijk allemaal salutes in te doen... Al zag het er wel gaaf uit was net iets te veel van het goede
En ook vond ik dat er een aantal hele relaxte waterbommen tussen zaten nu heb ik natuurlijk de andere shows nog niet gezien maar vond er een aantal heel relaxte tussen zitten :p
