English - Last week we had a small vacation in Valencia. And off course when we go to Valencia for a vacation there is always some fireworks. On the 6th of Oktober we travelled to Pobla de Vallbona wich is just 10 minutes away from Valencia city. Every year there are some great mascleta in this village and this year Pirotecnia Vicente Caballer started the fire. We arrived in time and the people of AmigosPirotecnia and Vicente Caballer showed us what there was going to happen. This was a regular mascleta without any digital thunder but with very loud thunder in the last section.

The mascleta started with the famous Valencian traca wich set off the salutes shells. This is always a part in the mascleta. Without this you cannot call it a mascleta. The first section is a combination of thunder candles wich fire 8 small thunders, salutes of 3 inch and candles with whisltes. Also there is a nice daylight cake with different colours of smoke and crackling. With this the mascleta starts to walking. The first section you see are filles with rastre's (strings with small thunders) and bigger thunders (no6) wich has a delay of around the 4 seconds. After that you see and hear the mascleta making a faster rythem wich is needed.

As we are walking under the mascleta lines you see how big the thunders are. These thunders are amazing loud and its a welcome on our first mascleta that we are seeying these days.  As you see you need to be carefull with mascleta when you dont know them because the lines look big and long but when the teromotto is in sight the thunders will blow faster and faster. After the last section the teromotto is fired but i dindnt like him because for me he was to slow in combination with the last section that still is burning. And also this mascleta had no real aerial bombardeo but they shoot these finale salutes at a different way wich is also for me to slow and not really a big finale as we know them from Vicente Caballer. A amazing mascleta but a finaly that was to slow and i dont understand.

vacaciones, hay fuegos que ver. El dia 6 de octubre nos dirijimos a la Pobla de Vallbona, que
esta a 10 minutos de valencia ciudad. Todos los años disparan buenas mascleta en esta
población, y este año Pirotecnia Vicente Caballer empezó con los disparos. Llegamos a tiempo
y la gente de AmigosPirotecnia y Vicente Caballer, nos mostraron el montaje previamente a su
disparo. Era un mascleta regular sin ningún trueno digital pero con truenos de gran calibre
en la ultima sección.

La mascleta comenzó con la famosa traca valenciana, despues de los truenos de aviso, esto
siempre forma parte de la mascleta, sin esto, no lo puedes llamar mascleta. La primera
seccion fué una combinación de candelas de truenos con 8 truenos pequeños, truenos de aviso
de 75mm y candelas de pito. Tambien una bonita caja automatica de humo de diferentes colores
acompañado de cracker, con esto la mascleta empezó para andar. La primera seccio que verás
son lineas de rastres (conjunto de pequeños truenos), y truenos de gran calibre (nº6) con
retardo de 4 segundos. Despues de esto podras observar como la mascleta va cogiendo un ritmo
mas rapido.
 
Mientras estamos caminando por debajo de la mascleta podras observar los truenos (masclets)
de gran calibre, estos truenos son verdaderamente fuertes y sirven para darnos la bienvenida
en la primera mascleta que veremos durante estos dias. Si ves una mascleta debes de tener
cuidado si no la conoces bien, ya que las lineas de truenos (grupos) son grandes y largos,
pero en el terremoto, se queman com muchisima velocidad, despues del terremoto, se inició el ultimo tramo,
la descarga aerea de truenos, esta vez, disparada de otra manera a la habitual,
un estilo nuevo de Vicente Caballer, para mi, demasiado despacio, ya que no dispara los
truenos de forma lineal, conforme se hace habitualmente. Buena mascleta pero con final muy
lento que yo no entiendí.

Afgelopen week zijn we weer een aantal dagen op vakantie geweest naar Valencia. Uiteraard is er als wij in Valencia zijn ook wel weer ergens vuurwerk. We hebben dit jaar wederom op de 6de Oktober het dorp Pobla de Valbonna aangedaan wat op zo een 10 minuten rijden van Valencia stad ligt. Pirotecnia Vicente Caballer mocht beginnen met de mascleta. Aangekomen op de plaats van schieten ontmoeten we daar de mannen van de Spaanse vuurwerk website AmigosPirotecnia.com en de mannen van Vicente Caballer die ons lieten zien hoe de mascleta er van dichtbij uitzag. Ze gebruikten op deze middag geen digitale knallers of andere aprte stukken vuurwerk. De mascleta bestond uit candles met salutes, Candles met kleine thunders en wat cakes waaronder een rook en crackling cake.

De mascleta begint zoals altijd met een Traca Valenciano die direct het eerste rack met salutes in brand zet. Heerlijk om weer de salutes te horen die ze daar gebruiken. Daarna gaat de traca verder naar de candles en de volgende racks met salutes om zo door te gaan naar de cakes en fluit candles en natuurlijk de eerste knallers. Als je goed kijkt zie je dat wanneer wij onder de mascleta doorlopen hoe groot de knallers zijn op de eerste lijnen om de hoek. Dit zijn toch gauw nummer 6 (Prof) knallers en dat konden we een minuut later goed voelen.

De mascleta knalt op een lekker tempo door en met een goed ritme maar helaas is de teremotto niet zoals ik hem graag ziet., Helaas is hij wat langzaam net als de finale rekken met salutes. Ze wilden dit keer eens wat anders doen en hadden ik dacht 6 rekken staan en de bommen waren vertraag doormiddel van Portugues Timefuse wat een bepaalde ritme had moeten geven maar ik vind het niks en zie liever de ouderwetse salute finale. Eindconclusie is dus een harde mascleta met niet een echte finale.
